Breathing Space’s therapeutic team has many years of experience working with addictions and holistic health. Our clinicians and medical staff are all licensed and accredited members of various professional bodies. Combined, our backgrounds in residential addiction treatment, corporations, community-based drug and alcohol addiction recovery programs, and government funded projects ensures our knowledge and experience will provide clients with an excellent calibre of service and support.

Carol Robinson – Head of Therapy

Carol has had experience as a Psychotherapist for 25 years.  She works with clients with a combination of approaches.  Working in a solution-focused way, she works with current life situations, including the present addiction issue, as well as working with past emotional trauma.  She focuses on underlying causes of addiction and moving forward into recovery and balance.

Amyra Mah – Holistic Therapies Manager/ Holistic Practitioner

Amyra is passionate about helping clients find their personal power, spiritual meaning and a profound sense of comfort within themselves.  She uses a humanistic approach when working with clients – facilitating the awareness of personal, subjective meaning and empowering them to make transformational shifts towards a balanced life.

Jaz Goven – Holistic Practitioner

Jaz is a dedicated practitioner who has worked with a varied client group for 9 years.  An advanced EFT Practitioner and Trainer, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, and Certified AAMET Trainer, Jaz is the creator of Fast Track Technique – a unique system that accesses the subconscious mind to discover the root cause of issues and then reprograms it with how the client really wants to act, feel and be.

Kevin Collins – Holistic Practitioner

Kevin has been involved in personal development for 13 years when he began on his path to recovery from addiction.  Since then, he has worked with various client groups with addiction, including dementia sufferers.  He is a member of the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a qualified Hypnotherapist.  Drawing from a wide repertoire of skills and training, including as a Sedona Method graduate, Theta healer practitioner and Emotrance practitioner, Kevin focuses on working with addiction primarily, as he finds this is where all of his considerable skills have come together.  At Breathing Space, Kevin specializes in coaching clients in goal setting, time line therapy, self-esteem building and aftercare.  He feels, in order to recover from addiction, it requires effort and dedication to change from the inside out, and his work reflects this.

Naranchaya Sriburapar – Clinical Psychologist

Naranchaya “JJ” Sriburapar is one of Northern Thailand’s most respected clinical psychologists and addiction specialists.  JJ holds a B.Sc. in Psychology and a M.S. in Counselling Psychology from the renowned Chiang Mai University.  She has also studied art therapy, music therapy, relapse prevention and other addiction-related specializations in Bangkok, Tokyo and New York City.
